Wight Bus Lines is currently looking for Qualified School Bus Drivers and Qualified Trainees
Location : Lambton and Kent County
Duties : School bus drivers perform some or all of the following duties
- Drive school buses to transport children between school and home or on excursions
- Ensure children’s safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing street while bus is stopped.
- Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
- Communicate with Parents, School officials and Students
- Must hold Class B licence or Qualify for Training
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a valid Class G or higher licence
- Meet Ministry approved vision test
- Satisfy Ministry approved medical requirements
- Not have accumulated more than six demerit points
- Not having had a licence under suspension in previous 6 months
- Pass the applicable knowledge test
